Dmitriy Chernyy proudly represents individuals who are suffering from injuries due to the negligence of others. He strives to hold accountable those persons responsible and works to pursue justice and just compensation.
Mr. Chernyy is a trial lawyer whose practice is focused on representing clients in a wide range of claims in both state and federal court, with a particular emphasis in the areas personal injury, premises liability, products liability, motor vehicle accidents, and labor law. He earned his law degree from Syracuse University College of Law in 2013.
Mr. Chernyy was awarded the Trial Lawyer’s Excellence in Advocacy and Evidence Award in 2013, and is passionate about training others to become successful trial advocates. After graduating from law school, Mr. Chernyy was awarded the “Best Coach Award” from New York State Bar Association of Trial Lawyers for coaching Syracuse’s National Trial Team to a victory in the Regional of the National Trial Competition in 2014. In 2016, Mr. Chernyy proudly coached Hofstra’s National Trial Team reaching the semi-final round of the Regional of the American Association of Justice Trial Competition. Shortly before graduating from law school, Mr. Chernyy won the Regional Competition of the American Association of Justice Trial Competition, and finished in second place in the National Competition of the American Association of Justice Trial Competition.
Mr. Chernyy is licensed to practice law in New York State as well as Federal Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
